Reckitt Benckiser has announced the appointment of Harold van den Broek as the new chief operating officer of its 'Hygiene Home' business unit.
He will also join the company’s executive committee, and report to the Group CEO, Laxman Narasimhan.
Presently, van den Broek serves as the finance chief of the division, Reckitt said in its statement. He will replace Rob de Groot, who has stepped down from the position.
'Purpose-Led Organisation'
Chief executive, Laxman Narasimhan, said, "I would like to thank Rob for his 32 years of distinguished service. As president of Hygiene Home, he has led the significant improvement in the performance of the brands and created a strong purpose-led organisation, passionate about sustainability.
"I look forward to working with Harold, who has been a strategic partner to Rob throughout the establishment of Hygiene Home business unit, and is known for inspiring teams to deliver growth, with operational rigour," he added.
