Nathalie Roos has joined L’Oréal as its general director of products, and in doing so has joined the cosmetic company’s executive committee, lsa-conso.fr reports.
Roos, who succeeds An Verhulst-Santos in the senior position, has occupied the role of general director of L’Oréal Germany since 2012. A graduate of the École Supérieure de Commerce de Reims, she began her career with Kraft Foods in 1987.
She joined Mars in 1989, where she held a number of positions over several years, and then worked for the brewer Kronenbourg (2000 to 2004). Following this, she returned to Mars, and in 2009 was promoted to lead its European arm.
She will begin as L’Oréal general director in the second semester of 2016. Verhulst-Santos will have “new and important responsibilities from April 2016,” the French multinational said in a press release.
The company has also made Frédérique Villiard the director of business development for L’Oréal France Grand Public.
