Spain's most chosen FMCG brands have been named by Kantar Worldpanel in its annual Brand Footprint report.
Coca-Cola, ElPozo and Campofrío rank as the top three in the list, while a total of 27 brands out of the 50 featured in the ranking are of Spanish origin.
Domestic brand consumption grew by 2.3 per cent last year, while foreign brands decreased by 0.8 per cent in the same period.
The ranking measures the amount of times a brand is purchased at the point of sale, includes data on how many homes consume the product and how frequently.
Other top brands include: Don Simón, Central Lechera Asturiana, Activia, Gallo, Danone, Azucarera and Bimbo, which in that order complete the top ten.
