Food Retailers Anticipate Sales Boost With Valentine-Inspired Food Ranges

Food retailers across Europe are anticipating a much needed sales boost this weekend with a range of Valentine-inspired products hitting shelves and online stores in time for the holiday weekend.

Yorkshire-based sausage producer Heck's pork and gluten-free sausage meat has been moulded into heart shapes to celebrate Valentine's Day.

The sausages by Heck are available at Asda, Sainsbury's and Waitrose during the month of February.

Organix says its biscuit dough is suited for making Valentine-style biscuits; the company has a long-term commitment to healthy eating with natural products.

Meanwhile, chocolate brand Choc on Choc combines Belgian chocolate with innovative designs to create its handmade Valentine's confectionery.

The range is available online and in selected retailers, including Boots, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Selfridges in the UK.
