Zurich-based chocolate manufacturer Barry Callebaut Group has announced that its chief human resource officer, Carole Le Meur, has decided to leave the company, effective 9 September 2018.
Le Meur was also a member of the company’s executive committee.
The company said that it will announce her successor in due course.
A Key Contributor
Antoine de Saint-Affrique, CEO of the Barry Callebaut Group thanked Le Meur’s for her "key contribution" to the company in the past two-and-a-half years.
“Under her leadership, Human Resources has grown and transformed to become a full part of Barry Callebaut’s strategic agenda. Carole has built a solid foundation for HR in the areas of talent, reward, culture and diversity, which will take an important place in supporting our longer-term business strategy,” he added
In the coming months, Le Meur will attend a senior executive program at a prime US University, before pursuing her career further.
Barry Callebaut Group is one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products.
The chocolate maker reported annual sales of about CHF 6.8 billion (€6.3 billion / USD 6.9 billion) in fiscal year 2016/17.
The group runs around 60 production facilities worldwide and has a workforce comprising of about 11,000 people.
