UK supermarket chain Asda is introducing new heart-shaped crumpets, giving shoppers options for a Valentine's Day breakfast.
The retailer's 'Loveheart Crumpets' will be available in Asda stores and online from 1 February, at a price of £1 per pack of four crumpets.

Asda says that it has launched the new breakfast food following the success of other seasonal novelties, including pumpkin and christmas-tree crumpets.
“Last year, our customers went wild for novelty shaped crumpets, so this year we’ve created new Loveheart Crumpets to set pulses racing and help customers put their heart on a plate for loved ones this February,” said Hannah Geldard, Asda's bakery expert.
