Auchan Russia has announced plans to construct an enormous 7,200-square-metre hypermarket in Krasnoyarsk by the end of 2016, according to RussianConstruction.com.
The new hypermarket will be contained in the ‘Zelyeny’ shopping centre, which is expected to have reached completion by the autumn of this year. It will have a car park with a capacity of 500, and a total of 54,500 square metres of floor space.
The Auchan hypermarket is part of the French-owned group's planned 2016 Russian expansion investment.
