Belgian retailer Colruyt has launched its first smartphone app, MyColruyt. According to the retailer, the app should help customers to shop more efficiently.
The main focus of the app lies in the preparation of a shopping list. Users can also select ingredients from one of the 6,000 recipes on the app.
If the customer owns an Extra card, the app saves his or her favourite products and checks all current prices in store.
If a customer is gluten intolerant, it is possible to add a gluten filter to the search. More filters will be added soon.
In addition, to save customers from wasting their own Internet data, all Colruyt stores offer free wi-fi.
