AB Vassilopoulos has announced a donation of €494,000 to Greece's Ministry of Health, which will be used to cover the cost of equipment for intensive care patients.
The donation covers the cost of 30 high-tech monitor systems for ICUs, including monitoring stations, a new, portable x-ray machines, two new portable ultrasonography systems and a range of digital solutions.
"We are in a battle," commented the president and CEO of AB Vassilopoulos, Vassilis Stavrou. "To win it we all have a role to play, and businesses need to join forces and stand by the state."
He added that the business is seeking to take care of Greek society, and the country at large, "because we owe it to them; today, more than ever".
