Spar Denmark has introduced a grocery delivery service called ‘We shop for you’ to address the growing demand for online shopping and home delivery in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The service aims to help customers in high-risk groups as well as those who want to shop for others.
The orders are placed online or through a phone call and processed and delivered within 48 hours for a fee of DKK49 (€6.50), the retailer said.
Customers can avail of the service seven days a week from 10:00 hours to 18:00 hours across Zealand, Funen, Jutland, Bornholm, and in the islands connected to the mainland by bridge.
Payments are processed through Danske Bank’s money transfer app, MobilePay to ensure safe and secure cashless transactions, Spar added.
