Russian retail group Dixy has been awarded the Znak Kachestva (Russian quality mark) for two of its private label products.
D brand short-grain rice and Tarhun lemonade received the accolade at the third annual Russian Retail Week 2017.
These are not the first Dixy own brand products to be recognised by the Russian quality system. Pervym Delom sunflower oil, and various products under the D brand have also received the award, including condensed milk, buckwheat, salmon, green peas, butter, honey, and ketchup.
High Quality Products
“Regardless of the economic environment, customers require high quality from our products," said Elena Savchenko, own brand development administration director at Dixy Group.
"Today’s award has been earned not only by our team, but also by manufacturers ensuring the high technical level of their facilities and adhere to quality standards at each production stage.”
Earlier this year, the retailer's D brand won four awards at Russia's specialised brand exhibition, the International Private Label Show.
