Brewer AB InBev has announced a number of changes to its senior management team.
Current off-trade sales director, Jerry Maguire, will take on the role of zone revenue management and sales intelligence director of Europe.
Country director for the Netherlands, Martin Yntema, will replace Maguire as sales director for the UK and Ireland.
Yntema joined AB InBev more than 12 years ago as part of the company's graduate scheme. He worked as the off-trade sales director in the Netherlands for three years, before becoming the country director.
Maguire has been a part of the company for 16 years, holding various sales positions in the UK as well as heading the off-trade sales operations.
More Changes
Finance and strategic planning director for the UK and Ireland, Nic Bartholomeeusen, has been appointed the country director for the Netherlands.
Oliver Devon, the head of commercial within the finance and strategic planning team will take over his role.
Bartholomeeusen joined AB InBev in 2011, and has held a number of roles in finance in Hungary, Belgium, and the UK.
Devon was a senior consultant with Deloitte before he joined the brewer three years ago.
These changes follow the appointment of Paula Lindenberg as the new president of AB InBev UK and Ireland, announced in August of last year.
'Maintaining Momentum'
Expressing excitement over the change in management, the incoming president said, “Both Jerry and Nic have delivered fantastic results in recent years, as our UK business has grown by double digits, and I wish them all the best in their new roles within Europe.
“I’m also thrilled to be welcoming new talent in Martin and Oliver to the team. Next year will be important in maintaining momentum across our business and accelerating the success of our global brands, Stella Artois, Budweiser and Corona and newer arrivals like Bud Light and Michelob ULTRA.”
Jason Warner, who headed up the UK business for three years, has been appointed as the zone president of Europe.
AB InBev’s UK and Ireland business employs around 1,100 people across its three breweries in Magor in South Wales, Samlesbury in Lancashire, and Enfield in North London, and offices in Luton and London.
