AB InBev's UK operations have been rebranded as the Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I, with the business also announcing the opening of a new London headquarters.
The rebranding exercise will enable the group to focus on its core ambitions, including 'sustainability, smart drinking, and championing Britain’s iconic beer community,' it announced in a statement.
Beers produced by the Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I include Stella Artois, Budweiser, Corona, Michelob Ultra, Bud Light, Beck’s, Bass and Boddingtons.
Fast-Paced Group
“We are a fast-paced, ambitious group that dreams big, and we have exciting plans ahead for the UK and Ireland,” commented Paula Lindenberg, president of the Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I, who joined the business from Brazil's Ambev in January 2019. “Through the power and recognition of the Budweiser brand, we want to open ourselves up to working with more partners to achieve our ambitions.
“We are looking forward to making a big impact in the year ahead, working towards brewing our beers with 100% renewable electricity and accelerating our progress towards 20% of our global products being no- or low-alcohol,” added Lindenberg.
The group announced that the Budweiser Brewing Group UK&I will be a 'more recognisable' name that 'drives awareness of the group and brings people together to achieve these far-reaching sustainable and social ambitions'.
