Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has introduced a new ‘Wine in Tubes’ packaging concept that will enable consumers to enjoy wine tasting sessions in the comfort of their homes.
Each package comprises six tubes of 100 ml capacity each, containing wine from Albert Heijn's wineries.
The three wines in the box include Porcupine Ridge Merlot, Castaño Macabeo Bio, and Puklavec & Friends Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot.
A Complete Kit
The kit also contains tasting notes and serving tips.
With the ‘Wine in Tubes’ concept, there is no need to open new wine bottles and the quantity is enough for one tasting session.
Each kit is priced at €9.95 and is available in more than 180 large-format Albert Heijn stores.
