Aldi Süd has launched a new digital wine guide called 'My Wine World'. The guide helps Aldi customers find information on a specific wine or select the right wine to go with a certain meal.
The guide explains the information on Aldi wine labels, and is equally useful for finding out more about different varieties of wine, or specific flavours. Lastly, it features articles on wine-related topics and provides recipes that pair well with the recommended wines.
"We think that it should be possible to enjoy a good wine without a high cost. Our customers can learn more about how this can be done from our new online portal, ‘My Wine World’," explained Sandra Sibylle Schoofs, head of marketing at Aldi.
Aldi Süd was voted 'Discounter of the Year' at the Berlin Wine Trophy 2015 awards, one of Germany's most prestigious wine competitions. Many of its wines have won a Berlin Gold medal. Experts from Lifestyle magazine Falstaff also regularly bestow awards on Aldi Süd wines.
