Aldi Süd has announced its intention to open a wine pop-up store at the Schadowplatz in Düsseldorf, to coincide with the international ‘ProWein’ trade fair.
The five-day pop-up store, titled, ‘My Wine World’, will be open from 17 to 21 March 2017, between 10.00am and 8.00pm.
It will offer a selection of twelve private-label wines, wine tastings, wine guides and presentations by respected wine producers, such as Fritz Keller, Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Marchesi de Frescobaldi.
“Aldi Süd is one of the largest wine merchants in Germany. We have been offering our customers exclusive wines from the world's best wineries and winemakers for years," said Ingo Panknin, director of corporate buying at Aldi Süd.
"‘My Wine World’ is an ideal meeting place for wine lovers and people who want to find out more about Aldi wines.”
The pop-up store’s programme will be complemented by a promotional campaign via Facebook and Instagram.
