Discount retailer Aldi UK has announced that it is launching a wine advent calendar ahead of the Christmas season.
The new product, which is priced at £49.99, features a selection of 24 mini wine bottles, including red, white, rosé and fizz. It will be available in stores from 1 November.

Aldi will also have a more traditional selection of chocolate advent calendars, with products aimed at both adults and children.
Additionally, the retailer says that it is releasing a gluten-free and dairy-free chocolate calendar, to meet the growing consumer demand for free-from products.
“At Aldi, we believe that everybody deserves to get into the festive spirit, no matter what their age or dietary requirements, with premium-quality advent calendars for all," said Julie Ashfield, joint managing director of corporate buying at Aldi UK.
"This year’s advent calendar offerings are better than ever, be it as a festive countdown for excited kids or a way for parents to enjoy the countdown to Christmas,” said Ashfield.
