Digital retail giant Amazon has added wine and beer to its Prime Now services in Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio in the US.
The one- and two-hour delivery service will now offer hundreds of alcoholic products from brands such as Bud Light, Veuve Clicquot and local brands such as MadTree Brewing.
“We are excited to continue expanding our product offerings and we know customers will love getting wine and beer delivered right to their door in one hour or less,” commented Stephenie Landry, vice president of Prime Now globally.
“Whether you run out of wine at your dinner party or need more chilled champagne for mimosas at a family brunch, Prime Now can save customers time with superfast delivery so they can skip a trip to the store.”
Customers in the Ohio neighbourhoods eligible for Prime Now can avail of the service starting 15 March. They can enter their zip code to see if this service is available in their area.
Prime Now members get free two-hour deliveries and can request one-hour deliveries at a cost of $7.99.
