Bruce Dallas is to take on the role of GB Marketing Director at soft drinks manufacturer Britvic, the company has announced.
Prior to this role, Dallas served as GB brand director for carbonates at the business for two years.
Matt Barwell, Britvic CMO, commented on the appointment, “Bruce is a highly skilled and experienced marketer and we are delighted to welcome him into this role. Under his leadership, we will continue to drive forward our owned brand portfolio, deliver consumer-focused innovation and build a culture in which our marketers can thrive.”
Dallas worked in a variety of different senior marketing positions for companies such as Diageo, Unilever, and Robertson’s Foods before joining Britvic.
He will succeed Kevin McNair, who has made the decision to step down from the position after working at Britvic for three years.
“I’d like to thank Kevin for the contribution he has made over the past three years to deliver our marketing programmes and we wish him all the best for the future,” Barwell said. “During his time at Britvic, Kevin led the delivery of a number of successful innovations into market, oversaw the delivery of some exciting new marketing campaigns and brought a greater focus to the consistent delivery of executional standards.”
The announcement comes after the company posted a 4.5% increase in half-year revenue back in May.
