American drinks company Brown-Forman has appointed Jeremy Shepherd as its new country manager for the UK. He will replace Andrew Wilby, effective 1 January 2018.
The drinks maker says that Shepherd will serve as a member of the company’s Europe Leadership Team, building strategies and partnership engagement from London for key brands such as Jack Daniel's.
Long-Term Commitment
Shepherd’s career includes a long period at Brown-Forman Canada, where he served as commercial and then country manager, before becoming national portfolio director for the United States in 2014.
He previously worked for Coca-Cola and Bacardi Canada, performing roles in sales, marketing and brand management.
“Jeremy’s experience in managing partnerships and leading with innovation equips him well to guide our most significant market outside the US,” said area director Endre Szabo.
“He brings a unique combination of industry experience, brand building, and commercial execution to the team, making him an ideal leader to continue growing our business."
