Coca Cola Invests €3.8 Million in Serbian Bottling Plant

Coca-Cola will invest €3.8 million in the production and warehouse facilities of a state-of-the-art juice production plant in Belgrade.

The project is being conducted by the Coca-Cola System in Serbia, consisting of bottler Coca-Cola Hellenic and the Coca-Cola Company.

These investments, as well as the introduction of a new line that can produce a complete range of brick packages from 0.5 to 1.5 litres, will allow Coca-Cola to establish a regional excellence center for the production of juices in Belgrade.

The factory has already export contracts in place with Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Hungary and Poland. As a result of this process, 80 new jobs will be opened in Belgrade.

As part of the planned changes in the juice production infrastructure, the activities of the Fresh & Co. plant in Subotica will be integrated into the new Center for Juice Production in Belgrade. It is expected that the whole process is completed by the end of 2015.
