Coca-Cola Launches First 'One Brand' TV Ad

Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland has launched a new TV ad campaign entitled ‘What Are You Waiting For’, the first to drive home its new one brand strategy announced in March.

Featuring a diverse range of celebratory moments, the TVC campaign focuses on the concept of young people becoming directors of their own happiness. 

Commenting on the launch, Bobby Brittain, marketing director of Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland, said, "At Coca-Cola we have a rich, 129 year long history in providing moments of happiness and with this campaign, we are motivating people to go further and to take action by choosing happiness. This campaign also marks the start of a new direction under our one brand strategy, and we have exciting plans which will bring this ambition to life over the next few months."

'What Are You Waiting For', the song that was specifically written for the campaign, is performed by Amsterdam-based rapper and producer HT, who has previously worked with hip hop artists such as DJ Grandmaster Flash and Jungle Brothers.

The TV ad will be online throughout the summer and an extended version of the ad will also be shown in UK cinemas this month.
