Diageo's corporate relations director Ian Wright is to exit his role at the company on 31 March 2014.
Wright, who has been at the drinks giant since 2004, will be succeeded by Charlotte Lambkin, currently Group Communications Director of BAE Systems plc. Lambkin is to begin her role in January 2014, replacing Wright on the Diageo executive committee.
According to Diageo, Wright's next role 'will become public in the coming months'.

"Her work at BAe Systems plc, where she has been a member of their Executive Committee for the past five years, marks her out as an excellent leader with a real grasp of the demands of managing the stakeholder agenda of a global business."
He added, "I want to thank Ian for all the support he is giving me in my transition, and for the part he has played in securing his successor to a critical leadership role for our business."
