Diageo has announced plans to move its global headquarters to Great Marlborough Street in central London from its present location in Park Royal.
In the spring of 2021, the company will move all 900 employees in its Park Royal headquarters to the new location.
The new location will create an agile, world-leading work environment for all its London-based employees, the company said.
It will also reduce its combined 200,000 square feet of office space to a more compact 105,000 square-foot building.
'Inclusive' Work Environment
Chief HR Officer at Diageo, Mairéad Nayager, said, "We are excited to be bringing our people together at last under one roof and closer to our consumers.
"Our new headquarters will provide the most inclusive of working environments for all of our people and enable us to retain and attract the best talent in the future," Nayager added.
Renovation
The spirits giant will renovate the building to incorporate the latest smart-working technologies and design a workspace that is conducive for better collaboration between teams and partners, it said.
The new office will also include an immersive customer collaboration centre, which will showcase Diageo's best off and on-trade spirits and highlight the creation of some of its iconic brands.
It will also house a dedicated retail experience section, open to the public, for the sales of Diageo’s leading brands.
