Spanish wine brand Freixenet, known for its Cava, is expecting to grow sales by 5% this Christmas season. The company also expects to see an increase in prices due to a reduced harvest caused by lack of rain.
As reported by eleconomista.es, the company's forecast was delivered by Josep Lluís Bonet, President of Freixenet, at a press conference in which it also introduced its Christmas advertising campaign.
Bonet mentioned that the price increase will be "non dramatic" and "affordable". This is not expected to collide with the company's expectation for 5% growth in sales, which would equal the growth achieved in the previous campaign.
