The winemaker Jacob's Creek has announced that it will run a new global televisual marketing campaign that will emphasise its Australian origins.
The theme of the project is earthiness and roots. 'Birthed from the land, shaped by the people, inspired by the continent, made by Australia' is the slogan for the commercials, which will run on television stations in Canada, China, Australia and the UK through 2015.
The head of marketing in Pernod Ricard's UK wine division, Lucy Bearman, said, " We know from consumer research that these authentic messages of heritage and provenance really resonate with our target audience, while the campaign also reinforces how Jacob's Creek is a real place, not just a brand. We are, therefore, naturally proud to showcase how our wines are made, bringing together the real people behind the Jacob's Creek portfolio."
