The Croatian unit of German retailer Lidl has expanded its wine offer with exclusive Croatian wines.
More than 30 different wines from the Slavonia, Dalmatia, Istria and Primorje regions are now available in stores. Ten wines from each region are offered, mostly indigenous varieties such as Žlahtina, Plavac, Teran and Graševina.
The selection of winemakers and their wines was made strictly according to the criteria of continuity of quality wines through multiple harvests.
All of the wines were analysed and tested by local Lidl sommelier Klaudio Jurčić.
Lidl Hrvatska has for years been offering its customers the 'Winemaker of Croatia' private label line, which was recently expanded with the addition of two new varieties - Dingač Plavac Mali (0.75) and Posip Vrhunski (0.75).
Winemaker of Croatia consists of a selection of quality wines from leading Croatian wine producers, offered at an affordable price.
