Lidl UK will begin stocking a list of 'healthier' wines made up of SKUs with lower calories and reduced alcohol content, SouthPortVisitor.co.uk has reported.
The new list is made up of 38 wines, of which more than half are French. These include a Pinot Gris Riesling blend (£7.99), a Côtes de Gascogne (£5.99) and four Bordeaux SKUs.
Among the ‘healthy’ Spanish wines are a Navarrese Chardonnay (£4.99) and a Valencian Moscatel (£4.49).
Wines from Chile and Portugal also feature in Lidl UK’s calorie-conscious wine list.
The wines will be on sale in Lidl UK-wide from 26 January as long as stocks last.
