Marie Brizard Wine and Spirit (MBWS) is to commence France-based distribution of three brands owned by American drinks giant Sazerac.
According to LSA.fr, the brands include the bourbon brand Benchmark, the flavoured whiskey brand Fireball, and Southern Comfort. Certain Sazerac brands have been distributed in France by la Maison du Whisky.
MBWS France already possesses a foothold in American whiskey distribution in France, trading William Peel Double Maturation, William Peel Honey, William Peel Delicious Coffee, Sir Pitterson, Glenroger’s and Canadian Tippers.
Earlier this year, Sazerac purchased Irish whiskey brand Paddy.
