Australian wine brand McGuigan has launched a sparkling wine, the McGuigan Frizzante Extra Dry, at the London International Wine Fair.
Following on from double-digit growth of sparkling wines in the past 12 months in the UK drinks market, McGuigan Wines believed the time was right to launch an Australian sparking wine product to meet consumer demand with its philosophy being to create wines that reflect what consumers like to drink.
Described as a light style of sparkling with soft lemon and apple fruit, it is now available to purchase at selected retailers in the UK and Ireland.
Commenting on the new product launch, wine maker Neil McGuigan said: “We are delighted to launch McGuigan Frizzante as a new addition to our sparkling wines portfolio. We wanted to create a high quality wine with an easy drinking style at the right price point, and the result of those efforts, McGuigan Frizzante, is a credit to our winemakers.”
“We are thrilled to support and attend London International Wine Fair”, added Julian Dyer, general manager of McGuigan Wines’ parent company, Australian Vintage, UK & Europe.
Australian Vintage also presented its core product portfolio from McGuigan, Tempus Two and Nepenthe wines, as well as the new product developments, at the London International Wine Fair.
