Moët & Chandon has unveiled limited-edition champagne bottles designed by Virgil Abloh for Nectar Impérial Rosé, according to a press release.
The see-through bottle, with a fine, gold-bordered neck foil, bears the designer’s ‘Do Not Drop’ message and highlights the champagne’s bright coppery pink bubbles.
Abloh became the artistic director for Louis Vuitton menswear in the spring of this year, and this is his first collaboration with a wines and spirits maison, designing the customised bottles for Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial Rosé.
The Collection
The collection comprises two limited-edition bottles. The first is a handmade jeroboam (three litres), reserved for Abloh’s circle of friends and family.
The second is a standard 750ml ‘ready-to-wear’ bottle, available exclusively in select stores in the United States.
Exclusive Availability
The collection is exclusive to the United States and was initially launched in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Chicago at the beginning of October.
The wine is also available on www.Clos19.com, the Moët Hennessy online retail site, in some US states.
Since its introduction in 2004, Moët & Chandon Nectar Impérial Rosé has been a favourite among demi-sec lovers.
It is known for its distinctively extravagant fruitiness, density on the palate, and a surprisingly crisp finish.
