PepsiCo France has just launched a new drink.
Naked, which is to join the French soft drinks market, is composed of fruit juices mixed with vegetable juices, and has a higher vitamin-content than many of its counterparts. The beverage, though new in France, has in fact been available in California for more than 30 years.
Distribution will occur initially in Monoprix stores. If the test is deemed a success, a larger-scale rollout will be effected.
A selling-point of the drink is that it has many of the health benefits which smoothies possess, but a consistency that is closer to juices in that it is less thick.
