Polish retailer Biedronka has unveiled a series of Portuguese wines as part of its 'Wznieśmy toast za smaki Portugalii' ('Raise a Toast to the Flavours of Portugal') campaign, which runs from 16 January to 26 January.
As part of the campaign, wines from Alto Douro, Alentejo, Minho, Dão, Lisbon and the Setúbal Peninsula are available in Biedronka stores.
The Biedronka banner is owned by Portugal's Jerónimo Martins.
Growing Interest
"Consumer interest in the wine offering is increasing every year," commented Marek Szach, who is responsible for the wine offering at Biedronka. "Polish consumers know more and more about wines and are happy to try previously unknown varieties, which is why we decided to introduce wines originating in Portugal."
As part of the campaign, Biedronka is offering special offers on Portuguese wine, with discounts available for purchases of two bottles or more.
