Drinks firm Rémy Cointreau has announced the disposal of its distribution subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia to Jägermeister.
Under the terms of the transaction, Mast-Jägermeister SE will take control of Rémy Cointreau Czech Republic and Rémy Cointreau Slovakia for an undisclosed fee.
‘Concurrently with this sale, the Rémy Cointreau Group signed an agreement with Mast-Jägermeister SE for the distribution, by the latter, of Rémy Cointreau’s spirits in the Czech Republic and Slovakia’, Rémy Cointreau said in a statement.
Rémy Cointreau added that the transaction is in line with its strategy to reorganise its distribution network in coherence with the upscaling of its brand portfolio.
