Stéphanie Rismont-Wargnier, who has served as a press officer for Danone and the French ministry of agriculture, has been appointed general secretary of Kronenbourg, LSA-Conso.fr reports.
She comes directly from Danone, where she was vice president of corporate communications, a position she had held since 2006. She joined Danone’s communications department initially in 2002.
Rismont-Wargnier will also bring a knowledge of agrifood at a political level to her new role with Kronenbourg, having managed media relations for former French minister for agriculture, Jean Glavany (1998–2002).
Previous to this, she worked for media relations firm Véronique Foucault Conseil, where she spent seven years, before being hired to run the media relations arm of Sopexa, the international marketing firm for food companies.
She succeeds Jean Hansmaennel as general secretary of Kronenbourg, and begins on February 1.
