Soren Hagh will take over the position of managing director of Heineken Italia from 1 March. His predecessor, Edwin Botterman, will be stepping down after seven years to take over the same role in Belgium.
Danish by birth, Hagh lived in Italy for three years during his tenure at Lego, as head of marketing. Prior to that, he served at L'Oréal as general manager, first in the UK and then Germany, and finally as general manager for Europe.
In 2013, he joined Heineken as executive director of global marketing, a role in which he oversaw the development of global brands and the digital transformation of communication for the Dutch brewing company.
