Spanish winery Codorníu Raventós has launched a collection of its finest Cavas de Paraje, named Ars Collecta Codorníu, in celebration of its 456th vintage.
Javier Pagès, general director of the bodega, told efeagro.com that the chosen Cavas are "of very high prestige - the culmination of a symbiosis between the land, art and Mediterranean culture."
The collection features five sparkling wines, including '456', which was bottled in 2008. Only 1,500 bottles of this Cava were produced, and only 1,000 will be sold. At €175 each, they are the most expensive Cavas available commercially.
The collection includes three Cavas de Finca and a limited edition of 'Jaume Codorníu', one of the company's most iconic bottles.
