Diageo and Stock Spirits Group have announced that the latter will be the exclusive distributor within the Czech Republic. This includes an important segment of Diageo's portfolio of brands, including Johnnie Walker whisky, Smirnoff vodka, Captain Morgan rum and Baileys Irish Cream.
The agreement on the future distribution of Diageo's portfolio of premium brands in the Czech Republic, will be effective from January 19, 2014.
The current distributor for these brands in the Czech Republic is Prague-based Global Spirits s.r.o., a joint venture that was established in 1996.

"This will complement our existing strong portfolio and enable us to offer an even better range of premium products to our customers," said Stephen Morley, managing director for Russia and Eastern Europe.
