Destilerías Tavasa has announced the launch of a premium red wine Sangría, called Jaleo.
As reported on the website acceso.com, the company, which is based in the region of Toledo, has described the Sangría as a product with "lots of personality".
Jaleo is the result of a blend of quality Spanish wines with grapes such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, together with natural lime and orange juices, and spiced with cinnamon.
Jaleo is currently available in Spanish retailers in 75 cl bottles at an average retail price of €4.80.
Tasting notes say that on the palate, 'it is sweet and pleasant, with a touch of acidity due to the citrus fruit in it. Its flavour is long lasting and the spiciness lingers for a while after the fruit is gone.'
Destilerías Tavasa is a 100 per cent Spanish owned, family-run company, which has a very diverse portfolio that includes Spanish spirits, orujos, cream liqueurs and juice concentrates.
