UK chain Costa Coffee has announced that it will launch a new trial store that will offer alcoholic beverages in the evenings, along with its food and drink range.
The trial store is located in Wandsworth, in London.
The coffee company is adding a new range in store, which includws three slow drip, single original blends from Sumatra, Kenya and Columbia, all of which use 100% Arabica beans. The Sumatran brew will be available as a cold beverage steeped for 20 hours and served on ice.
Costa is also extending its daily food menu, to include new additions such as avocado on toast, macaroons and antipasti sharing platters.
Jason Cotta, Managing Director of Costa Coffee UK & Ireland commented: “This is an exciting time for Costa Coffee. Since Costa was founded in 1971, it has been at the forefront of Britain’s growing love of great coffee.
