German supermarket giant Edeka has taken to social media platform Instagram in an attempt to attract more online customers.
Edeka said that it will "invest a lot of love and passion" in its new Instagram account, according to Fresh Plaza.
Edeka opened the official Instagram channel at the start of October and has revealed that it will be posting images that "should inspire the desire for good food" several times a week, while the profile will give "extra information about the products, recipe ideas for home cooking and an extra helping of inspiration, always photographed very tastefully."
The retailer added that the account's focus is on 'creative images that tell stories'.
