Italian discount supermarket chain Eurospin has opened a temporary store at Rome’s Termini railway station to celebrate the holiday season.
The shop is called Le Nostre Stelle and sells premium private label products. In addition, visitors can also purchase Christmas gift packages ranging from €19.99, with free delivery throughout Italy.
A similar initiative was launched last Christmas by Italian supermarket chain U2 (owned by retailer Unes). Its temporary store in Milan was dedicated to the leading private label brand Il Viaggiator Goloso.
At the same time, Eurospin has continued with its expansion strategy, opening six new stores in November alone (in Trepuzzi, Sandrigo, Partinico, Milazzo, Carsoli and Nepi).
