Florette, the fresh produce subsidiary of French cooperative Agrial, has announced that it is to acquire fruit firm Toque et Fruits just a year and a half after its creation.
Toque et Fruits is a subsidiary of Fruitière du Val d’Evel. As part of the deal, the company will continue to produce its range of fruit products – jams, pies, sorbets, etc. – though they will be marketed by Florette, and appear under its brand.
These SKUs will have a larger scale of distribution as a result of Florette’s comparatively wide European supply chain, according to LSA.fr.
Last year, the Agrial group achieved a turnover of €4.8 billion.
