Russian meat producer Cherkizovo Group has posted 14% growth in pork sales volumes, to 22,570 tonnes, in July 2020, compared with the same period last year.
However, on a month-on-month basis, the sales volume of pork declined by 12% in July, from 25,620 tonnes in June 2020.
The company’s pork production volume increased by 12% year-on-year, to 23,090 tonnes.
Poultry Segment
Turkey sales volumes fell by 19% year-on-year, to 3,120 tonnes, in July 2020.
The average price per kilogram increased by 22% to RUB182.71 from RUB150.1 in July 2019.
The sales volumes of chicken fell by 1% year-on-year, to 59,480 tonnes in July, while they were up 14% on a month-on-month basis.
The average price per kilogram of chicken fell by 1% to RUB 107.43, the company added.
The company’s meat processing division saw a 4% growth in volumes to 21,300 tonnes, while the average price per kilogram increased by 1% to RUB 172.03.
