Spanish meat product manufacturer, ElPozo Alimentación, has reported growth in export sales of 27.8 per cent for 2015.
It finished 2015 with total sales of €965.3 million, 2.5 per cent more than the previous year, mainly thanks to its introduction of new fresh and processed products. Its range of sliced products alone experienced growth of 24.7 per cent.
In a statement, the company said it now hopes to explore opportunities in new markets, and to continue increasing its exports, especially to the Asian and Latin American regions.
Last year, ElPozo Alimentación invested €39.2 million in optimizing productivity at its facilities, and in developing new lines.
It says its range of healthy products, BienStar y All Natural, and its range of fresh products, Extratiernos, are the result of its ongoing Research and Development efforts, as the company seeks to meet growing consumer demand for health foods.
