As part of an effort to sell more eggs, supermarkets and hypermarkets across France will begin to distribute a pamphlet designed and made by L’Interprofession des Œufs, which contains information about the health benefits of eating eggs, as well as egg-based recipes.
Tout savoir à propos des oeufs is aimed principally to convince shoppers to buy more eggs for their children. Its subtitle is Les Aventuriers de la connaissance perdue (which translates as Adventurers into a Lost Knowledge).
The project is funded by major egg producers in France. It will become available in the autumn, when the French schools reopen.
