FrieslandCampina Sells Dairy Brands To Odenwald Früchte

FrieslandCampina is to sell two of its dairy brands, Mark Brandenburg and Milchreiter, to German firm Odenwald Früchte for an undisclosed sum.

The sale to Odenwald Früchte's dairy subsidiary, ODW Frischprodukte, has been approved by Germany's Federal Cartel Office. The terms of the deal, however, were not disclosed by the groups. Both companies will continue to work together on production.

Following the sale, FrieslandCampina's German division will focus on its core brands, which include Landliebe, Optiwell and Tuffi.
