Frime, a Barcelona-based third-generation family business of fishing devotees, works on the basis of three solid cornerstones: quality, continuity and service.
Since its foundation in 1977, Frime has made sure it listens to its customers’ and suppliers’ needs. The company’s staff is a hugely important part of the business, with more than 180 staff from 33 different countries on the books. This has facilitated Frime’s introduction into many international markets.
Frime imports fish from around the world and has a sales presence in over 40 countries, which ensures that it has the highest quality and freshest catch, with 90% of production being exported. Frime has 3,000 tonnes of stock, and produces and sells 900 tonnes per month and invoices $70 million annually.
The company’s cold-storage and processing centres are HACCP compliant and follow the strictest sanitary rules and regulations, together with IFS, BRC, APICD and MSC certificates. Its products are a favourite of the hotel, restaurant and catering industries worldwide.
Frime specialises in the likes of tuna, swordfish, cephalopods and cod.
Frime will present at the Global Seafood Expo in Brussels from 21-23 April (Hall 11, Stand 2561).
