Spanish company Oliduero is expecting to produce 70,000 half litre bottles of premium extra virgin olive oil this year, increasing production volumes by 75% compared to 2015.
As reported by interempresas.net, the company has over 100 hectares of traditional olive tree plantations plus 12 hectares of organic olive trees.
The harvest will last 10 days and the company will rely on cutting edge technology to ensure the quality of the produce. First it will launch the Oliduero Cosecha Temprana (early harvest) and Secret Blend lines, of which only 2,000 and 1,800 bottles will be made, respectively. The rest of the production will contribute to the Oliduero Prestigio and Oliduero Ecológico lines.
Oliduero, part of Grupo Matarromera, is one of the leading companies in the production of high-end olive oil in Castilla y León. It has a production capacity of 450,000 kilos of olives, resulting in 74,000 litres of extra virgin olive oil.
