Valio will take part at this year’s Free From Food Expo, taking place from 9 to 10 June at Amsterdam’s RAI exhibition centre.
Valio is a brand that holds well-being close to its heart. It makes tasty, high-quality products out of clean Finnish milk. A pioneer in lactose-free dairy and ingredients, Valio launched the world’s first totally lactose-free dairy products in Finland in 2001.
It has since built up a wide portfolio of lactose-free products, and has become the market leader in the lactose-free category in Finland and Sweden.
Valio pours both its heart and 111 years of experience into all of its work, making it the biggest dairy company in Finland.
Its product development follows in the footsteps of Nobel Prize winner A. I. Virtanen, and the company is also Finland’s biggest food exporter.
Accounting for 30 per cent of the country’s total food exports and doing business in 55 countries, Valio is now seeking even stronger growth in international markets.
